snow majesty snowflake is a beautiful sparkling ornament. my first time buying an annual lenox ornament and the quality is higher than other lenox ornaments of similar size (approx. 4" or 10.16 cm) these were silver tone filigree, too.the presentation box is a white and red slider cardboard with red velvet inside. the top of the box is clear plastic edged in candy cane stripes. packaging is similar to other lenox ornaments. it's presented well, so would make an excellent holiday gift.snow majesty is heavy though. I put it near towards the trunk of the tree on a branch of my artificial tree. at the tip of the branch, the ornament causes a big droop. the ornament feels solid which I do like. opposite side of the ornament's gem side is solid silver tone with the same 3-dimensional pattern as the front. it's really nice that the back still looks good because you often see ornaments from different directions.up close, the sparkling gems are more like carnival glass than an iridescent sheen. you see green, blue, orange, pink and maybe yellow. high contrast colors that are multi-faceted. from a distance, the colors are muted to lighter pastels and look more iridescent. it's sparkling a lot on the tree even without lights. I have a mini tree (3.5 feet, 1.07 meters) up all year round, so that's why I added this ornament in october. I do plan to add lights and more to spruce it up for december. (pun intended)UPDATE: In taking another look at this there was a box cover on top of the Lenox box cover that slid right off with the top cover when I opened it originally and I never even realized! The holiday madness has gotten to me obviously! The box is great and so is the ornament. The buyer, on the other hand, needs some sleep! I apologize for the misinformation and hope my comments didn’t prevent anyone from buying.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased the Rudolph Baby's 1st Christmas for my goddaughter. The ornament itself is very nice but it came in a makeshift box, not the Lenox box that the picture shows. Not that I'm a brand snob, but if I'm buying a Lenox ornament I want it to come in a Lenox box. Otherwise it looks like I bought a knockoff. This is an amazing ornament. It’s GORGEOUS. It was like I waltzed into the middle of magic kingdom in the middle of a Disney parade surrounded by characters with elbow room to move and I plucked this right off the grand tree.I regret giving this away as a gift so so so much. Whoever gets this gift is one lucky ducky. This shines so brightly and the quality is made by Walt himself.I cried a little when I opened this because of how magestic this doohickey is. It was great weight. Not too heavy and not too light. The perfect castle.Loved every second I had with this before I shipped it off to a dear Disney friend. I will probably buy it again for myself.Arrived today and is prettier in person than in the picture! The gold does not contrast as much as in the picture, I actually just had to get up and make sure it had gold on it because I didn’t recall it having gold when I took it out of the box. I like that better than a really yellow-y gold. It looks very classic. It is heavy so you will need a large branch to hang it on, it would probably make an artificial tree limb bend unless you put it far towards the center. It comes in a very sturdy box with a mold for the ornament, so it can be safely stored throughout the year without any tissue or hassle on your part.2 years ago, I began buying a new silver bell for my daughter's Christmas tree every year. She lives them. This one is very nice. For shear looks, the little reindeer couldn't be cuter. This bell is clad in silver. Last years (different co) was clad in nickel. I worry the silver may tarnish over the years, but it may not, and as I did, it is cute.Only other difference I notice between the two, last years nickel plated bell SOUNDS much prettier tone (crystal clear ring), compared to the silver clad. This one had a dull thud ring to it, but it's for decoration, not ringing. I would buy it again, only because the little reindeer knocker is so darn cute.I bought this ornament for my first year with my husband. We want to start a tradition of getting an ornament each year and i know the reputation that Lenox has in quality and design. Its a very good quality ornament but was larger than I thought it would be and the ribbon was kind of flimsy to maintain the weight of the ornament so I may change it out.I had bought one in 2015 and it was cheap plastic, I believe they reevaluated their product after many complaints were made about the quality, this one is solid and heavy and is a really great keepsake. Now of course I feel bad for my first child who has the cheaper version when her sister has this, but I would definitely buy again for a first Christmas ornamentMy fiancé bought me a couple of ceramic birds just like these cuddling as a gift shortly after we started dating. When I was looking for an ornament to celebrate our first christmas, I was suprised to find something so close to the first gift he gave me. The only downfall of this purchase was it didn’t arrive before Christmas. However, the meaning will stay the same for every Christmas from now on.Very sturdy and heavy need a strong branch to hold it up. Perfect baby’s first Christmas ornament to last throughout the years that easily stores in box it came in.Beautiful ornaments.Arrived on time and was well packagedPerfect for my Christmas TreeThis ornament is super cute and sturdy. I wanted an ornament that would last - this is the one.Quality. Great ornament
